This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for bookings made through HotSafar Premium Travels. Because we act as an intermediary, refunds are ultimately governed by each supplier's fare and cancellation rules.
1. How Cancellations Work
To cancel or change a booking, contact us as early as possible by phone (+91 87670 33333), WhatsApp or email. The applicable cancellation charges depend on the airline, hotel, operator or visa authority and the specific fare/rate booked.
2. Refund Eligibility
- Flights โ refunds follow the airline's fare rules. Some promotional/low-cost fares are partially or fully non-refundable. Government taxes are usually refundable even on non-refundable fares.
- Hotels โ refunds depend on the rate booked. "Free cancellation" rates are refundable up to the cut-off date; non-refundable rates are not.
- Holiday packages โ refunds are calculated per component (flights, hotels, transfers) and any non-recoverable costs already paid to suppliers.
- Visa services โ government and embassy fees are non-refundable once an application is submitted. Service fees for processing already done are non-refundable.
- Trains & bus โ refunds follow IRCTC / operator rules.
3. HotSafar Service Fee
Our convenience/service fee is non-refundable unless the cancellation results from our error.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by the supplier, we initiate it promptly. Refunds are credited back to your original payment method. Typical timelines are 5โ7 working days for cards/UPI and 7โ14 working days for bank transfers, though the exact time depends on the supplier and your bank.
5. No-Shows & Partial Use
No-shows and partially used bookings are generally non-refundable, as per supplier policy.
6. Schedule Changes & Cancellations by Suppliers
If an airline or operator cancels or significantly reschedules a service, your refund or re-accommodation follows that supplier's policy. We will assist you in claiming any eligible refund.
7. How to Request a Refund
